You Remember This!!!

Upload Image / File

I have been listening to many Americans who whine and complain about how we have no business in Iraq or anywhere else for that matter.
I direct your attention to the photo above. It shows three Americans falling to their deaths on 9-11. They left home that morning and said goodbye to their kids for the last time because a group of people have decided that America is the greatest evil on this planet and needs to be wiped out.
I agree that there are many things in America that are evil, but none of them warrant an attack on innocent people.
I kept photos like this to remind me why our soldiers are over in Afghanistan and Iraq.
If we are over there killing them, they are not over here.
That is an excellent strategy as far as I'm concerned.
Our Troops deserve our respect, our prayers, and our support.
I live in a town near Sacramento, California. Recently, a couple hung an effigy of a soldier by the neck from the roof of their house.
I am sickened by the fact that excrement like that dares to refer to themselves as Americans.
If only they knew how lucky they are to live in a country where such dissent is permitted. A part of me wishes they were in Iran, when such an act would result in their being beheaded. But I am an American and we believe in Freedom. Even if it includes displays of such sick and disgusting opinions as those of the couple who hung an effigy of one of our soldiers. They have a right to express their opinion.
Fortunately, most Americans disagree with them.
The majority of Americans believe in the great work being accomplished in Afghanistan and Iraq by our soldiers.
We salute you.

SOLUTION? Individual Value selah

Carl V. "Sam" Lamb and I served side-by-side as rifle-squad leaders; Fox Company, 'Chesty' Puller's 1st Marines, 1st Marine Division. He wrote a book about our experiences in the Korean conflict, 1950-1951. He included my remarks about an incident in which one of our people threatened to punch-out a fellow squad-leader-guideon who had black skin.
The page follows:

THE LAST PARADE
by Carl V. "Sam" Lamb Page 296 (ref: 1951)

James Fletcher Baxter

"Sam" and I had a lot in common. We both resisted evil. After I
got out of the hospital, Big Jim Causey told of driving along
in his police cruiser and hitting a black man in his head
with his pistol. He thought it was funny how the guy sprawled
into the street. When he made this comment we were in a card
game. I didn't say anything, but then he said he was going to
kick the ____ out of Joe Goggins and I had heard enough.

I said, "If you're going to try that, you'll have to go through
me to get to him. I'm willing to give my life for a country
that values each individual. If that isn't true, I don't want
to fight for that country - but, it is true, so I'm not going
to let you rob me of the very good reason I may lose my life
tomorrow or next week. If you attack him, you attack me. I
may lose, but I guarantee I will make it very expensive for
you to get to him. Let me know what you decide."

He got up from our card game and said, "I'll have to think
about it."

I said, "Let me know. I'll be here."

He came back a little later and said, "You're right. I was
wrong." I thanked him for his manliness.

Joe Goggins came to me later and thanked me. He had wet eyes.

Shortly after the above event, Jim Causey was called home for family
member medical problems. On his way back to the States, he passed
through a Naval medical facility. While there, he ran into my brother,
Sgt. Howard "Barney" Baxter, 5th Marines, who had just been sent
stateside for his Chosen Reservoir frost-bitten feet.

Causey told my brother what had happened and said "how much it
had changed his life." He said Joe and I had forgiven him and he
would "never go back to the old collective point of view." He was
really joyful because he was honestly able to forgive himself! He
became a more manly man - a good Marine - with honor.

I'm pleased the Rutgers women accepted Imus' apology. They, and
others, need to forgive. We all need to grow. Good examples are
always in short supply. God bless my Country and its Individuals.

you are in Iraq and Afghanistan for oil...the attackers came from other places...why aren't you there? Sadaam had nothing to do with 9-11, the Taliban had nothing to do with 9-11...George Bush is a criminal and should be prosecuted...and then treated like Sadaam...he should be hanged for his crimes. Your attitude is exactly what scares the rest of the world about the united states. The next wars will be about fresh water. In Canada, we possess 6-10% of the worlds fresh water...the US is trying to pressure us to start supplying water to the drought states in the US...and when we won't, will you mongerers come after our water and kill Canadians because we have something that you want?

The above comment makes my point beautifully. Whoever the coward was who wrote it is deluded beyond belief. His whining diatribe shows the denial that allows pigs who hide behind the skirts of innocent women and children to continue to kill their Muslim brothers and American soldiers in Iraq.
I stand by my words.
The coward says that the Taliban were not responsible for 9/11. The pigs in the caves of Pakistan have taken resonsibility for their actions. It is a pity that their supporters won't have the same courage their leaders do.

This coward puts on a uniform every day and serves. I save lives in the Greatest Nation in the World: Canada. I take pride in the fact that our beautiful Canada did not bend to the pressure of the united states by going to Iraq. We have come to see exactly what the united states has become as a misguided nation led by a sick, murderous leader. Canadians are thrilled that the united states people can not "vote" this tyrant back into power (for a while). History will tell the tale of the fall of the united states under bush...the collapse of the financial markets, the collapse of the housing economy, the fall of the united states dollar....and the shame under which the united states has to live...this is why the united states has so few friends in the world. Even the country that tops you on the map is embarrassed for you...this is why we all wear Canadian Flags when we travel...heaven forbid that someone mistake us for american.

and did I mention that Canada has learned our lesson about supporting the united states in conflict...after all, we're still trying to clean up your disgusting mess in Afghanistan...

I am sickened by the rantings of the spineless in our neighbor to the north. Unfortunately, it shows the lack of regard that is common to all weak-minded individuals when they are free to whine and complain.
Instead of helping to eliminate the muslim swine who use children and retarded women to kill innocents, they refer to the men & women in uniform who are doing the heavy lifting as cowards instead of themselves.
Normally, such a tirade against the men & women who serve would enrage me but in the case of the posts above it only reminds me of how pathetic the left side of our culture is. They are weak cowards who think that by hiding and pretending that muslim terrorists aren't a real threat will eliminate the problem.
Anyone with a shred of common sense knows that if you are threatened by someone who is willing to kill you, the only way to survive is to kill them first.
I can only hope that the canadian coward never has to defend his family, that is if he is capable of having a family. (The lack of balls may be a small problem...)

It occurs to me that maybe a clarification is in order;
I do not agree that going into Iraq was the right thing to do.
As far as I can see, America has not gotten any oil for their actions in Iraq so if oil was the reason, where is it?
I think our president made a huge mistake.
He should have gone into Iran. Unfortunately, most Americans weren't willing to go after the mad mullahs and their loony president.
They are and have been a much greater threat to peace than any other state in existence.
Iraq was an excuse to play power politics and an attempt to create a democratic government in the oil-rich region of the middle east.
I disagree with that idea and think America's interests would have been far better served if we had ignored boundaries and gone after the Taliban for their role in 9-11, going wherever they were hidden, whether it was Afghanistan, Pakistan or Iran.
Had we limited our role to retribution for 9-11, things would have been different.
We didn't and that's a shame.
Regardless of the what should have beens, we are in Iraq now, Saddam and his two spawn are dead and were we to leave, the country would spiral into a chaos that would make somalia seem like a picnic.
While I disagree with my president, I happen to agree that when a group of people (Muslim Terrorists) hate my country enough to kill 3000 innocents, they need to hunted down and killed like a rabid dog.
Hopefully, the view of the coward from canada will continue to be ignored by most Americans.
You see, I could care less what other countries think about me or my country.
I do find it ironic that when a people are threatened or a massive disaster happens, it always seems like the Americans are the ones who have to deal with it.
Boy am I glad to see that our powerful and beneficial neighbor to the north is there to look after things now that we Americans are so far off track....

There is an old news video of Lt. Col. Oliver North testifying in front of God and country while getting the third degree at the Iran-Contra hearings during the Reagan Administration.

What he said was stunning!

Here is the transcribed text of an exchange during the hearing that even faint-hearted canadians might find interesting.

He was being drilled by a senator; "Did you not recently spend close to $60,000 for a home security system?"

Ollie replied, "Yes, I did, Sir."

The senator continued, trying to get a laugh out of the audience,
"Isn't that just a little excessive?"

"No, sir," continued Ollie.

"No? And why not?" the senator asked.

"Because the lives of my family and I were threatened, sir."

"Threatened? By whom?" the senator questioned.

"By a terrorist, sir" Ollie answered.

"Terrorist? What terrorist could possibly scare you that much?"

"His name is Osama bin Laden, sir" Ollie replied.

At this point the senator tried to repeat the name, but couldn't pronounce it, which most people back then probably couldn't.
A couple of people laughed at the attempt.
Then the senator continued, "Why are you so afraid of this man?" the senator asked.

"Because, sir, he is the most evil person alive that I know of," Ollie answered.

"And what do you recommend we do about him?" asked the senator.

"Well, sir, if it was up to me, I would recommend that an assassin team be formed to eliminate him and his men from the face of the earth."

The senator disagreed with this approach, and that was all that was shown of the clip.

By the way, that senator was AL GORE!!!

Also: Terrorist pilot Mohammad Atta blew up a bus in Israel in 1986.
The Israelis captured, tried and imprisoned him.
As part of the Oslo agreement with the Palestinians in 1993, Israel had to agree to release so-called "political prisoners".

However, the Israelis would not release any with blood on their hands.

The American President at the time, Bill Clinton, and his Secretary of State, Warren Christopher, "insisted" that all prisoners were to be released.

Thus Mohammad Atta was freed and eventually thanked the USA by flying an airplane into Tower One of the World Trade Center.
This was reported by many of the American TV networks at the time that the terrorists were first identified.

It was censored in the USA from all later reports.

united states media would have you believe that when disaster strikes, the united states is the country that comes to everybody's assistance...I thoroughly enjoy watching the us-centric attitudes that exist in the united states...I truly do. It was truly a shame that 3000 people died on sept 11--there is no question of that...but the bigger shame lies in the number of innocent people that the united states has killed in the last 40 year--from Vietnam to Iraq--I realize that there will be collateral damage and innocent children and women by the 10's of thousands in those countries NEEDED to die--because, of course, the united states of america had a god-given duty to go get "them thar weapons of mass distruction"...oh wait! There were none! OOPS! Oh well, what can you do?

Now, as far as Canada being a powerful and beneficial country...well, i'm glad that you've realized it...because you're absolutely right when you said: "when a massive disaster stikes...it always seems like the americans are the ones who have to deal with it." You see, that is exactly what your country's media puts forward: Look at the great good that the "us of a" is doing to help the world...but of course, for those of us who actually GO to disasters as part of RDT's (Rapid Deployment Teams) we get to see how disasters are truly multi-national responses. The difference is, those of us from other countries do our duties quietly--we don't paint everything we touch with a gaudy red, white and blue...your media HAS to extoll the virtues of the united states wherever possible, since the united states has killed more people worldwide and done more damage to others than any other country in the HISTORY of world, all in the name of "democracy", Kentucky Fried Chicken, a morbidly obese population, and the almighty all-you-can-eat buffet...enjoy your grits hillbilly!

Dang!
I better go git mah gun an go canuck huntin or sumptin!
Us knuckle-draggin neanderthals are shore lucky to have such brave an intelligent neighbors up north....
Quick someone shove an icepick in my ear before my brain explodes from the whining diatribes of the superhero in canada who is only eclipsed in selflessness by Mother-Teresa....
For those whom might actually believe the tripe being served by this wannabe, do the research and see how much of canada's GDP is generated through the sales of goods and services to us fat, chikin-eatin Americans.
My skinny, socialist neighbor to the north: Put your cape away and do some real research, perhaps then you'll realize that when America goes down, canada goes with it. Oh wait, you can always sell your goods and services to your communist friends in China and Cuba! Hold it! If America is collapsing, who will buy things from China? Canada can't. Their entire population is less than California's. Gee.... whatever should be done to help poor fat and stupid America????
Oh Well, it's time for me to go to bed and snuggle up in baby seal fur, petroleum based material lined comforter....

Oh yes, I almost forgot:

Hey canada- The former Soviet empire has the corner on the market for number of deaths- Over 100 million since it's inception.
Not far behind is China, Oh Wait! How about Pol Pot killing a third of his countries population, then Germany, and after that you might find America on the list if you count the numbers of ABORTIONS also.
Get a grip and do your research loser. Stop filling up this blog with your pathetic moveon.org rantings, if not, at least use statistics that are based in reality instead of some bong-induced formula that has as much reality in it as canada's dreams of greatness...

Well, Canada seems to be doing quite well...and yes, it's definitely because the usa over indulges in everything...and believe me, Canada will do quite fine without the united states...now, remember next time you decide to go Canuck hunting...historically, there's only ever been one war between our two countries...and we managed to march right down there, kick the lily white asses of america and burned it's lil ol White House to the ground.

We're not stupid...if america can't do it for themselves, we'll happily take their money for what we have in abundance....water, lumber, petroleum (though we haven't given in to the water demands yet)--we've happily substituted it with our refuse from Toronto--but I guess we pay you to be our trash bin and toilet...and of course, you do it...I have no problems with taking american money while it's still around...Believe me, after the united states becomes a third world country, Canada will still be around...happily protecting our water, our oil, our trees, etc while the united states becomes another dry desert.

Consider:
The missing element in every human 'solution' is an accurate definition of the creature.

The way we define 'human' determines our view of self,
others, relationships, institutions, life, and future. Many problems in human experience are the result of false and inaccurate definitions of humankind premised in man-made religions and humanistic philosophies.

Human knowledge is a fraction of the whole universe. The balance is a vast void of human ignorance. Human reason cannot fully function in such a void; thus, the intellect can rise no higher than the criteria by which it perceives and measures values.

Humanism makes man his own standard of measure. However, as with all measuring systems, a standard must be greater than the value measured. Based on preponderant ignorance and an egocentric carnal nature and appetite, humanism demotes reason to the simpleton task of excuse-making in behalf of the rule of appetites, desires, feelings, emotions, and glands.

Because man, hobbled in an ego-centric predicament, cannot invent criteria greater than himself, the humanist lacks a predictive capability. Without instinct or transcendent criteria, humanism cannot evaluate options with
foresight and vision for progression and survival. Lacking foresight, man is blind to potential consequence and is unwittingly committed to mediocrity, collectivism, averages, and regression - and worse. Humanism is an unworthy worship.

The void of human ignorance can easily be filled with a functional faith while not-so-patiently awaiting the foot-dragging growth of human knowledge and behavior. Faith, initiated by the Creator and revealed and validated in His Word, the Bible, brings atranscend-
ent standard to man the choice- maker. Other philosophies and religions are man-made, humanism, and thereby lack what only the Bible has:

1.Transcendent Criteria and
2.Fulfilled Prophetic Validation

The vision of faith in God and His Word is survival equipment for today and the future. Only the Creator, who made us in His own image, is qualified to define
us accurately.

Human is earth's Choicemaker. Psalm 25:12 He is by nature and nature's God a creature of Choice and of Criteria. Psalm 119:30,173 His unique and definitive
characteristic is, and of Right ought to be,the natural foundation of his environments, institutions, and respectful relations to his fellow-man. Thus, he is oriented to a Freedom whose roots are in the Order of the universe. selah

U.S. government and its military have killed many innocent civilians around the world and in its own nation. I dont support the wars in the middle east. The U.S. may be a great nation, but we're def up in the top 5 most evil nations ever. The U.S. is major target and always will be..we didn't lose that many people on this single day...plus I believe this was an inside job.

"If they are over there killing them, then they are not over here killing us."

Whomever writes this blog is completely ignorant, mostly to the fact that the large majority of people in Iraq and Afganistan ARE NOT EXTREMISTS and are not out to harm anyone (but we are in there 'accidently' firing bullets at them, ruining their families and their careers by sticking our unwanted noses in for resources) - so it's alright for us to be in there killing this ambiguous 'them' but not alright for them to be doing the same thing?! SMACKS OF DOUBLE STANDARDS! Murder, is murder. Full stop. What we should be fighting against is the fact that we, as human beings the world over, are unable to resolve our issues without resorting to violence - what separates us from other, less developed species? Humans are the only species who wage war against each other!

Thousands of innocent (and, by the way, Muslim) civilians in Iraq and Afganistan, those people who "Said goodbye to their families in the morning...and never came home" (so to speak) have absolutely nothing that separates them from the innocent people who died in 9/11. It's just people killing people killing people killing people....

I am from the UK and I also believe we should be supporting our troops from over here - as these poor people are the ones who have to do the dirty work for our corrupt governments. But you know, if someone didn't support the troops I wouldn't hold it against them - perhaps they are pacifist or it offends their own conscientiously held beliefs. Afterall, the point of a free and civilised world is being able to express those beliefs without some old-fashioned, horrendously patriotic, right-wing snob wishing that he could behead them. The blog writer should be ashamed of themselves and really, really...you should take some time to educate yourself too you ignorant fool.
